Speed Changers and Reducers

A speed change pulley that is used in the company name constitutes the core of MIKI PULLEY speed changer and reducer product lines. By changing the pitch diameter of the belt of pulley, a speed control of the device can be easily performed. Due to the mechanical speed control, the maintenance is easy, and a stable power transmission and speed control can be obtained. There are wide variations such as the integrated unit with motor or reducer, model with brake motor or hollow/solid shaft reducer. Therefore, a stable power transmission can be provided for a complex control method as well as speed control.

P(AP) Model for V Belt
The P (AP) model is a VARI-DIA pulley with standard V-belt that changes the rotation speed by moving the mounting motor to vary the pitch diameter of the belt hung on the pulley forcedly. Mounting is easy by using an adapter and unique cam mechanism prevents slips. Speed can be changed without changing the center distance in combination with the AP model to use the P model on the driven side.  MikiP.pdf

Standard motor output

0.2kW to 3.7kW (4-pole)

Speed change ratio Approx.

1:1.5

Pulley outside diameter

86mm to 218mm

PDS (AK/PE) Model for Wide Belt
When turning the handle of the motor-side speed changer, the width of the speed change pulley will change. By varying the pitch diameter of the speed change belt, the pitch diameter of the machine-side speed change pulley will follow to change the rotation speed. The PDS model is a belt-type stepless speed change drive that is incorporated directly into machines to save space. There are 6 sizes from 0.2kW to 3.7kW (4-pole) of transmission capacity.   MikiPDS.pdf.
